Sweet Songs of Spring

Snow melting, fast, as warm-air hits,
Storm clouds, with rain, they bring.
On budding branch the robin sits,
And sings sweet songs of SPRING!

Cold wind breathes, now, a warming sigh,
To thaw the ice-river's ring.
Returning birds will fill the sky,
And sing sweet songs of SPRING!

A bubbling joyous sound of mirth,
God taught the birds to sing,
Proclaims to creatures, here, on earth,
And sings sweet songs of SPRING!

The world's filled, now, with glorious sound,
Of music only Angels bring,
Echos from the heavens-high to ground,
And sings sweet songs of SPRING!
