The Great Horned Owl, in the woods,
The Barred Owl answered, "Who cooks for you?"
All night long, the pair debated,
Then, with morn's light, their sounds abated.
Night after night, this, same, question
From the woods, the marsh, and the hills, it resounded,
When, at last, arrived the fair Fall,
Now, "Barred" asked, "Who cooks for you - ALL?"
If you should decide to take a, long,
Be quiet, listen close, you'll hear these owls "talk".
They hoot-hoot, "bark", holler, and call,
"WHO?" "WHO?" "WHO COOKS FOR YOU - AAAALL?"
